How to storage bearings–HZV BEARING FACTORY

Bearing storage method

Bearing storage methods include anti-rust oil storage, gas-phase agent storage, and water-soluble anti-rust agent storage. At present, anti-rust oil storage is widely used. Commonly used anti-rust oils include 204-1, FY-5 and 201, etc. .

Bearing storage requirements

The storage of bearings also needs to consider the influence of the environment and the way. After buying or producing bearings, if they are not used temporarily, in order to prevent corrosion and pollution of bearing parts, they should be properly stored and kept.

The specific storage requirements and precautions are as follows:

1. The original package of the bearing should not be opened easily. If the package is damaged, the package should be opened and the bearing should be cleaned carefully, and the package should be re-oiled.

2 The storage temperature of the bearing must be within the range of 10°C to 25°C, and the temperature difference within 24 hours is not allowed to exceed 5°C. The relative humidity of the indoor air should also be ≤60%, while avoiding external airflow.

3 Acidic air is strictly prohibited in the bearing storage environment, and corrosive chemicals such as ammonia water, chloride, acidic chemicals, and batteries must not be stored in the same room as the bearing.

4. Bearings should not be placed directly on the ground, and should be more than 30cm above the ground. While avoiding direct light and being close to cold walls, it is also necessary to ensure that the bearings are placed horizontally and cannot be placed vertically. Because the walls of the inner and outer rings of the bearing are very thin, especially the light series, ultra-light series and ultra-light series bearings, it is easy to cause deformation when placed vertically.

5 Bearings should be stored in a stable environment without vibration to prevent damage caused by increased friction between the raceway and rolling elements caused by vibration.

6 Bearings need to be inspected regularly during storage. Once rust is found, immediately use gloves and kapok silk to wipe the bearing, shaft and shell, so as to remove the rust and take preventive measures in time after finding out the cause. For long-term storage, the bearings should be cleaned and re-oiled every 10 months.

7 Do not touch the bearing with sweaty or wet hands.
